What does the colour of the wines depend on? Are the varieties important? What is the “terroir”? How do soil types influence? Why do wines ferment?

All these questions and many more will be answered during the visit, at the foot of the vineyard and the tanks.

The wineyard

The prerequisite to making quality wines is having the necessary grapes. We will explain the three factors that influence the maturation of the grapes and largely define the final character of the wine, which are:

A varying selection of grapes
Application of proper wine cultivation
Specific knowledge of the climate of our region

Once we know what needs to be done to ensure quality grapes, we analyze the transformations and process through which they pass, before reaching the bottle. We will explain what the fermentation process consist of and why it must be done and elaborate of the various types of wine produced:

Red, blush and white wines
Young, semi-aged, and reserve wines
